Bust zip / JTS Leather trousers

    Only 6 months old and used fewer than a dozen times - one of the teethg
    in the zip has actually broken off. Should I take them back to the
    retailer or send them off to a specialist?

    Get it repaired by a local cleaner/repairer.

    We took them back to the retailer today who, much to my surprise,
    immediately offered a replacement pair - no quibbles, no asking to see
    the receipt, no close examination.

    Stunned and delighted.
