What kind of signage do they have before those jack in the box
obsticles? they would have some magnetic detection so they dont poke the
buses so why dont they stop rising if something else comes over? an
extra "cheeky" or unaware car is going to bring traffic to a standslill?
Anyone who watches that and sees a guy with whiplash worried about his
kid and thinks its funny or deserved is sick

Going from the signage at the beginning of the video it was abundantly
clear it was a no-go area and all three vehicles were trying to race the
transponder. I was more concerned that the first bus hadn't stopped
properly to allow the passenger off, and the occupants of the second
vehicle shouldn't be allowed to breed.

I am extremely worried that there are idiots who expose their kids to such
situations. But what can you do?

Get the Video Downloader plug-in for Firefox and download FLVPlayer to
    watch it.

The whole lot of them were IDIOTS. You know : idiots. Stupid people
put on Earth just to amuse those of us with IQs that reach 2 figures.
Not sure whether you noticed but all 3 cars were deliberately trying
to run a dangerous, well signposted obstacles that they know they
shouldn't .. all to save maybe 3 corners.

That you feel sorry for people exhibiting such rampant stupidiy may
also be a worry but the rest of us seem to have found it funny.

Know the BIG RED FLASHING SIGNS at the start of the video ? They were
for the burger joint around the corner. Not for the uber-shiny traffic
controlling obstacle that's just doing its job right next to them. For
free, mind you, not because they want to better society but because
evil metal pole controlling robots have taken over their planet.

It's no more ridiculous than what you wrote ..

And the rest of us are fortunate you are here, else comedy would never
have evolved past the Three Stooges.

Only the good ones. If you look closely you'll find an on off button
    somewhere.

personally, the only thing more stupid the the moronic drivers are the
bofins that allowed those poles to go in, what next? Machine guns?

  14. For the trees......the trees of course

Got to appease the treehuggers and the greenies
It appears that whenever the road reserve is lower than the tarmac itself,
they put in those wire barriers,
just took a ride up to Bendigo today and there seems to be an overabundance
    of wire rope barriers
even in a car I think I would prefer to run up against the armco railings
than the cheese cutter wire barriers
the wire could slip above the bonnet and into the screen and

    Off with his head

Happened to a bloke here about 25 years ago. Hit the Armco support rails
while sliding and... off with his head...

That won't happen unless someone takes all the tension out of the wires,
and then they'd be lying on the ground and little danger of going over
the bonnet. Just because you don't understand them doesn't mean they
aren't effective at doing their job.
