Managed to pickup a Penalty Charge for inadvertently using a bus lane.
Has anyone contested these and what happens if you do?
There's a nice piccy of me but can I get hold of the evidence (if there's
    more of it)?
    DPA maybe?
Do I need a brief or can I self represent....?
What happens if I don't pay - bailiffs?
Can I counter-sue at being deprived of my right to use all the available
road in the name of self preservation and safety?

Cheers for any info - can't let the gits have my cash without a fight.

    The piccy *is* the evidence.
Can you prove you weren't there?
    Eventually, or prison.
    Don't be such a tart.
Face it, you're fucked. I've had *loads* of these (over 20) and there's
**** all you can do. Maybe you could say your bike was nicked or
something but manufacturing lies like this is going to be a big PITA.

Pay up, numb nuts and don't get caught :)

Yes. I think its important that we as motorists, attacked by a
government that is illegal and mendacious in its policies, fight against
those that seek to restrict our basic freedom to use ALL the road.

I suggest you launch a high profile legal campaign against this blatant
    infringement of your human rights.

While you're there, can you ask about the other side of the road and the
    pavement too?

Try reposting this on uk.legal. You can't move there for litigious
    fuckwits in terminal denial.

    HTH, HAND, etc, etc.

There might be a get out if you were drving a bus at the time of the
    offence.

Ooh! Do Lardy Old Buses count? Can I legally use the ZZR in bus lanes?
