Had a storm blow through here last night, that really put on a lightning
show. One lone rider was hauling butt, headed east, just moments ahead of
the storm. I sure hope he made it to where he was going before it could
catch up to him. We had lots of lightning, high winds and nearly 3 inches
of *horizonal* rain, in 1 hour! Lightning took out our IP's tower and it
took them 13 hours to get it back.

I watched the storm coming and made sure the bikes were covered. Joe hasn't
built a carport, or garage yet. Been too busy with other stuff he's having
to build, so tarps are all there is between our bikes and the elements. The
bikes have handled 60+ mph wind and still remained upright, though there's
    been times I've wondered how.

I hope no one gets caught out in the storms that are blowing through now, or
    those expected later today.

    Happy 4th of July, everyone.
    Ride safe, stay safe.

No. They are sitting in the yard, parked on the grass.
Saturday morning (July 3nd), at about 1:00 a.m. Blew through here
(Breckenridge) on it's way to Ft. Worth. I hear it kinda piddled out, by
the time it got to Cowtown. Before it left here, it had dumped almost 3
inches of rain on us. We needed the rain and we need a lot more.
    Back at'cha, Bjay.

It hit OKC some time last night. 70mph winds and "torrential" rains.
This morning it's still raining up there. But it's 60°F instead of
    nearly 100°F.
