Building a bike from a kit - worth the effort?

So you'll^H^H^H^H^H^H he'll order it, it'll turn up, in a box,
and then it'll start to go together. Then he'll start watching
American Scuba Idol[1], and get ideas about doing that, and
you'll end up chucking the thing into the sea so that he's got
something to go and salvage properly. And then selling the
rust-coated bits on ebay for a profit...

Selling the second car isn't necessarily a bad plan...

I would agree with the posts sugesting it an't such a good deal, my advice
would be................. buy a cheap sportster £3 to 4k and make it your
own, spend your money on all those cool bolt on goodies and a paint job will
end up costing you half the dosh.
