I did a daft thing last night - left a large aluminium stepladder propped against the inside of the main garage door, and then forgot all about it. Went back in this morning, pressed the magic button and.... kerrrrrunch! Yes, the nice hard top end of the steps scored a direct hit on the 1150GS, making a few scuffs (unless there is hideous damage as yet unseen) and smashing the bottom n/s corner of the MRA screen into lots of little bits. I'd no idea those screens were so brittle, and have spent ages gluing as many of the pieces as I can find back on again. I've succeeded, but it's not a very pretty sight. :-( Anyway, in the current climate of nobody taking responsibility for their own actions, who should I sue... 1. The door manufacturer for not warning me against propping things up against the door, or... 2. The ladder manufacturer for not warning me avoid propping it against something that is likely to move, or... 3. The screen manufacturer, for not warning me that if I bash it hard enough it will break, or... 4. SWMBO for failing to tell me not to do anything bloody stupid? Buggery bollocks x 10^9
