In the car, by a camera whose whereabouts I've known for a decade but
forgot about. 83 in a 70. Oh well.

Prolly. Forward facing camera. On the A21, just before the Tun Wells
exit, heading south. I've known it for years but I'm usually on the bike
and so no worries. Just forgot it this one time and had the cruise
control set at 85 as I was in a hurry.

Nah, I'll just take the fine and points. Shit happens.

 

That has to be one of the hardest cameras to miss in the world. Big
yellow box on a stalk in plain view at the end of the layby.

 

Yeah, I know.... silly, silly.

That said, it's got several dozen pix of me giving it the finger on
various bikes, so wtf.

Me too, yesterday, except it's only about 10 years [1]. Mobile camera
van that I didn't notice. 37 in a 30, which I'd normally not do, but
this is a big urban dual carriageway with wide pavements so a scrote
would be pushed to hurl himself under your wheels unless you
deliberately aimed for him. Ho hum. Maybe they'll let me do a course
instead.

[1] by far the longest I've evr gone without points.
