You should see the blokes face in the photo posted by the bug's dad.

Reminds me of my 7R after a French Run. The bike was so plastered in
bugs even the woman at Calais passport control spent more time
commenting than looking at my passport.

  5. Using the patented Mavis Beacon "Hunt&Peck" Technique, ogden
Perfectly understandable. She had the choice of looking at a mess of
squashed insects, or a picture of you.

  6. Rode through a swarm of bees once. They where blocking the whole lane up
between the hedges. Had to get it up to 60 to make sure I killed them
all. I was still finding dead bees inside the bike six months later.

I recall many years ago riding out into the countryside to visit
friends one evening, back in the days when I had an open-face helmet.
I decided not to take goggles, in the mistaken belief that I wouldn't
need them. There were greenfly. Lots of greenfly. It was like riding
through a sandstorm but probably not as pleasant.

  13. I had the pleasure of rounding a bend on a chug through the Kent
countryside a few years back and seeing a green cloud ahead of me. I
stopped and watched as the cloud left the field to the left and moved,
on the breeze, across the road to the field on the right and although it
stayed more or less the same shape until it dropped from the air it was
moving inside. I could see vortices as my companions rode through it.
    Good it was.

I'm not sure I could deal with a swarm of Beez. One Beez is more than
Nah! Bees are lovely as long as you don't upset them. Don't trust wasps
    though.
