It's not bad from a rider's perspective, a little bit of the classic
inline 4cylinder tingle at the bars and pegs at around 5 grand. It is
however quite noticeable on the passenger seat and pegs however.

Just for novelty sake, I will actually answer with an on topic answer...

I test rode one recently in canberra, when they had a test ride day. I rode
the naked 1200 cc version (I forget which is the R and which is the S, and
both are really naked in my eyes). I enjoyed myself on the hole, even though
they took us on the stupidist test ride route I have seen in a while. 95%
straight up and down a highway... on a bike that is meant to be fun in the
twisties? So my experience was a bit limited. I liked the feel, the sound of
it, the way it felt very small under me. I hated the gear box, and sighed
with relief when I got back on my blackbird and could tell if I had changed
a gear or not. over all.. I wouldn't buy one myself unless I had just won
lotto and was assembling a range of bikes to fit out into my new 12 car
garage (which is what... 36 bikes? more?), because I found the gear box too
vague and the price a little steep for it. If I was looking for a bike to
ride around town, and the gear box was nicer, I might be tempted. nice
riding postion, hoon like feeling, and it felt like it was going fast even
when I wasn't really. I kept being surprised when I looked down at the
speedo. Not sure if that is good or bad...

so fun, but not enough to make me want to spend that much money on it. not
when there are other bikes that are cheaper and just as fun.

Wow - those Harley marketing types really have their customer base
    pegged down, don't they?
