buell X1 white lightning

I have a buell X1 white lightning I'm thinking of selling it's a 2001 on a
51 reg and it's done 6k miles and is in good condition what sort of money is
this worth? I'm also thinking of a part ex on something like a gsxr

A shop`ll offer you 3.5K in part-ex then punt it out for 5.5k.

Private, ask 5K and expect 4.5K.

As an experiment I offered my 1 year old 02 M2 (5K on the clock) FHDSH to a
HD dealer against an 11 grand Harley.
He offered 3.5K part-ex, I`d bought it from the same dealer the year before,
brand new, for 6.3K!

Some prefer the X1 with the FI and USD forks and as such they are "slightly"
more desirable than the M2`s.

Yours sound in good nick/low mileage/original but I doubt if you would get
more than 3.5K from a stealer/dealer.

Privately, 4.5K would be a result :-( sorry mate but Tuber Buells are as
cheap as chips ATM I`m afraid.
