Checked out the places and the gap.... looked to be a STUNNER of a race.

1 2 and 3 were this close through Siberia on the last lap.
http://www.thisstupidurl.com/125cc123.jpg Stoner did a phenomenal job of
sticking with them for the entire race considering his lack of speed down the
    straight.

    Did you watch the race?
Did you not hear the commentary?
On an equal bike Casey would have shit all over the other two.
He has world Champion written all over him.
Only reason he finished third was on some obscure technicality.

Arrr the old "if only trick" , Rossi has a inferior bike to the haonda army,
gets shit all over down the main straight digs deep and wins. The best can
    win with inferior equipment.Can Casey?
Not in 125cc it seems, but he is ok all the same and in the top 4 for that
class, but far too many errors this and last year, and a far too many KTM
failures too, no wonder he is leaving them
    LOL love that !

I suppose that in this day and age of multiple levels of reality, it
probably has become quite an obscure rule. :-|

No, the one that says that if the clock and the video can't separate
them, the one with the best lap time for the race wins.

Naah Cam, if you have a look at the official results you'll see they
both have the exact same split time behind the winner.

Oh! It was the hi-tech stuff, was it?

I watched the race on TV, from a distance, in the Epping Hotel.

It seemed fairly obvious to me who was first, second and third.

Unfortunately I missed even seeing the 125s on tv so someone who was
there would be better able to comment, but according to the reports the
result at the start finish line was you couldn't split them in a photograph.

    Stupid rule
if they couldn't split them at all in time and place then they should be
equal second and no third place.
That's how they finished there should be no technicality.

If the rules state that a countback is taken on lap times then there is a
clear distinction between the places and Stoner clearly came third, not
    second.
