Nobody, ever, but they sound dangerous... I hope they don't kill you
before that heart attack comes along.

You should be able to tell if they've been used by looking at them.

They came as standard on the gixxer. Not enormously impressed as they
weren't particularly grippy and I destroyed two rears in less than
    4000 miles.

I used a set for just short of 5000 miles. I *thought* I could do better
when I needed to get new tyres, but I fucked up badly. I bought Continental
Road Attack which are absolute shite in the cold. Fortunately the worst of
that kind of weather is behind us, but come the next change and it'll be
    Battleax 014's again.

They're slightly slower steering than the Conti's, but they never gave me a
single arse twtching moment even in the pissing (and I mean PISSING) rain.

In fairness they're probably the best allrounder. I've gone with the
new Pilot Power but only really as I fancied a change.

The lack of mileage I got out of the 014 was mostly down to my cack
handed wheelies squaring them off in quick time.

I went from 014s to Diablos last time round, as I've always liked
Pirellis. I had no end of squirrely moments from the Diablos in the
wet, and in the dry when cold, and the rear let go at speed in the dry
on one occasion. Not at all confidence inspiring.

I'm now back on 014s, and they've never given me a moments concern.

Whatever I do, they just stick, and I like that.

I came to precisely the same conclusion following my foray into the

ITYF that real Real Men use Azaros.

I cite as evidence that that well-known gurly-poof Christofire couldn't
    get on with them.

I've run out of tread on the front Azaro fitted to the Bandit. Chicken
strips...what fucking chicken strips? I also seem to have somewhat
    lighter footrests now.

Azaros are tyres of sporty-touring gods.
