Hi all, now that we've made the new love nest a little bit presentable
it's time for a housewarming. It'll be on Saturday 3 December, in
    Coburg, starting at about 4pm.

We're currently negotiating with the lawn bowls club next door for some
light afternoon entertainment/exercise. Afterwards we'll have the
customary BBQ, followed by copious quantities of extravagent cocktails,
    poured by my Beloved[1].

If you're interested in attending, please send me an e-mail:

If you have a BBQ for loan[2], please send me an e-mail:

[1] Her collection of exotic liquor fills most of the cupboards.
[2] You can only fit so much in a truckload, it was either the BBQ or
    the GPX600R...

No, but every cloud ... etc.

I've started taking a pushy to work. (well, this morning I took it on
the back of the car. It was raining, but cleared up in time for me to
be able to ride into the city for the rally.)

A solution has been found for the Bimmer, in the guise of a pair of
late-model heads that just needed the exhaust stubs machined to take 40
mm headers. Now its a matter of when the workshop can squeeze it in.
Chris offered to book me into his next available slot, which is in
December, or to just try to squeeze the work in when he can.
