I am picking up a BSA A7SS circa 1961 "project" for restoration this
    weekend.

I would appreciate any assitance from anyone who is or has done a
similar restoration in terms of what I should look out for before
    accepting the bike as is.

Are there any pitfalls or any parts which are especially difficalt to
    get hold of?

    Thanks for any assistance.

I haven't done a BSA (well, I almost did, my dad finished up having it
off me and putting it together...), but I do know places for bits for
them - Vale Onslows and C&D Autos in Birmingham, and Lightning Spares
in Sale. C&D and Lightning are both BSA specialists.

I did a couple, but that was about thirty years ago.
I'm interested to know how you get on with it, did you in fact buy it?
As to difficult parts, I'd take a guess at - 'everything' these days.
