Stiff shoulder and sore side after impacting the ground last night.
Some twit in a souped up ute threw a tyre squealing u-turn in front of
me through one of those turning bays just before a traffic light.
Missed colliding but ended up bouncing on the road. Might have to look
up one of those courses in advanced evasive manoeuvres if people are
    going to be that silly.

Amazingly no damage to the bike.

    Go buy a lottery ticket.

Then maybe invest in one of these.

I did recently. It's wonderful. Almost caused my builder mate next door
to pee in his pants when I fired it outside the door of his ute :)

Only used it twice in anger. Second time the chick with the mobile phone
and mirroritis almost hit the truck on the OTHER side of her.

Good to hear the bike is okay - heal quickly.

Agreed. Plus, they are great for scaring birds and cows off the road at
a much greater distance than a typical squeaky motorcycle horn.

Bloody , 'ell !! I don't think I'll ride my bike up around your way.
Too many bogans high on the smell of buring rubber.

Get well soon, DM, and perhaps it's time to ride in a manner tempered
by the idea that they're all trying to kill you. :-(

They're always available on ebay. Usually around $50 incl postage.

Holy dooley, DM, you've had a rough trot. Hope you heal quickly. Those
bastards really ARE out to get us, you know! Did the deadshit stop to
tell you he hadn't seen you/check to see you were ok? Or did he bugger
off, oblivious to the whole thing?

    Take care,
    betty

I actually didn't get hurt seriously this time. Minor bruising and a stiff
neck 24 hours later. I've woken up with worse after a big night out!

The idiot did stop to tell me he didn't see me until the last moment.
Helped me pick the bike up too. Not a scratch.

He was very helpful and quick with the order.

I have one of those... I promise it will go onto the third bike, it
sat on the work bench for the last 2!

Just buy a Beemer RT - the horn on mine makes ME jump.

An expensive way to buy a louder horn... :)

Interesting concept though - An RT is a two-wheeled mobile horn...
