Did you all have a good time then? Apart from Blaney that is, shame you couldn't have saved your bin until tomorrow really..but at least you're ok. I must say, it's rather bloody cold back in Blighty. Got back yesterday afternoon and spent all night shivering, despite the CH being on while I was away. And as I feel as though I've managed to put about a stone in while being away then I should have enough fat to keep warm with. Got up this morning and the c*r wouldn't start which was a bummer. Especially as it was blocking in the other car and the access to the garage so I couldn't even get the bike out. After faffing about in the cold to remove the battery and set it on charge a quick inspection showed that one of the cells had buckled plates. Bummer. I set it on charge enough to get down to the local(ish) battery suppliers who unfortunately were shutting up shop just as I got there (with it being NYE and all) so I had to go to another supplier in completely the opposite direction to get a replacement. Ah well, off out tonight (well wrapped up, may I say!), lounge around tomorrow before a night shift at t'pub then back to reality completely on Friday.
