Now you've said that, I've remembered having to do the same with the Samsung drives currently in the box. It's very confusing though as I didn't have anything with SATAII then, so bugger knows how I did it. I do now have a SATAII box, but of course it hasn't got a floppy drive. So back to plan B of just sticking the new drive in that box & mapping it over the network. It's on 24/7 so not a problem. -- Krusty '03 Tiger 955i '02 MV Senna (for sale) '96 Tiger (for sale) '79 Fantic Hiro 250 (for sale) '81 Corvette (for sale)
And after several evenings of trawling websites for details on making the eHome Infrared Receiver work under XP Pro rather than MCE, none of which worked, I've now given up & gone back to Vista. I doubt nVidia will ever fix their bugs based on past experience, so time to look for another card. -- Krusty '03 Tiger 955i '02 MV Senna (for sale) '96 Tiger (for sale) '79 Fantic Hiro 250 (for sale) '81 Corvette (for sale)
