    Help,
Just fitted a Boyer Bransden MK3 to my BS B50 72MX but can't work
out how to get it to fire without a battery and buying a rectifier ( was
energy transfer system with half size stator).
Was I sold the wrong one or is this just the way? Can it be done without a
battery? Only two wires from stator and never had a rectifier with standard
    system.

Any help much appreciated. I live far away from major city not much to
    resource help here.

    news just in from elsewhere:

As I write, here in the UK, the National Motorcycle Museum is burning to the
ground, destroying many rare and irreplacable machines.

12 fire appliances are in attendance, with more on the way, but the evening
traffic is hindering them, it appears as if most, if not all of the historic
    collection will be lost.

I hate it when shit like this happens...........

    A file that big?
    It might be very useful.

Well, I guess the grim tale suggests - a shed full of collectibles going
    nowhere really doesn't matter.
If you've got one, ride it. When it breaks, disappears or disperses, at
least it served its Cosmic Purpose.
If ya wanna just look at it, take a photo or get a wax cast of it or summat.

Or just fill yer fire-trap shed fulla harleys: nobody could possibly give a
stuff if a coupla hundred of them went up in smoke ;-P
