If you had said something earlier, I would have told you that we have
3 farm tractors and 2 of them are for sale. Joe doesn't need more
    than one.

Brenham's a lot closer than PK.
Ended up not going to Brenham, as the effing tractor decided that since
today would have been a great day for me to ride the motorcycle, it
would finally go ahead and start, and once it started, I didn't wanna
turn it off. I should have known better than to make one last effort at it.

3 weeks ago, the damn thing had an overheating problem. I decided to
change out the thermostat. Naturally this resulted in a broken off bolt.
So I ended up taking off the hood and grill and water pump and radiator
and stuff like that to get to the broken bolt. 30 minute job turns into
3 days. So I get all that back together, and decide to fix up a bunch of
the half-assed wiring and fuel lines on the tractor. Spent about another
day doing that. Then we had a hurricane. So I changed out the hydraulic
fluid that looked like instant gravy,(not from flooding or anything,
it's just a 50 year old tractor and leaky I guess) and the oil that
looked like really really old oil, and the filter. So then it wouldn't
start. :( So yesterday I took the carb apart and soaked in that super
deadly chemical stuff and put it back together. Still wouldn't start.
Cussed the tractor, pissed on the tire, went back in the house.

Today I hooked the battery back up, double checked all the wiring,
looked at the spark plugs(plugs looked pretty damned good surprisingly),
unplugged some things, plugged some things back in. Tried about 3 times
to start it with no luck. Gave it one last chance before the battery was
completely dead, and then I was gonna get on the bike, ride to Brenham,
and price out a well used Kubota or something, and it fired up.

This is why I pay people to work on my motorcycle.

Maybe my ISP's news server is working properly now. I sure hope so,
cause google groups sucks even harder than tractors that piss you off
and won't start until you are ready to go do something fun.

===plugging all those things back in, did the trick, I'd say.

I haven't lived at PK for over 4 years now. My home is outside of
Breckenridge but I'm staying at Joe's dad's farm until we get it
    sold. That's south of Cisco.
Kinda like a toothache stops on the way to the dentist. ;)
I know how you feel. Well, Joe does anyway. ;)
Joe couldn't get a water pump started. He worked for 3 hours on it,
pulled it all apart to get to one stinkin' screw. Still wouldn't
start. Finally pulled the carb and there was a piece of carbon or
some crap. Cleaned that all out and the damn thing finally started.
That was yesterday. He had put in Stabil a few months ago. Seems
everything he put Stabil in has clogged up.

Btw, you probably wouldn't want either of our tractors then. One is a
Farmall M and the other is Farmall A and both are as old, or older
than I am. At least they "run". LOL
I pay Joe to do that. ;)
Yeah, I'm not happy with google groups either but it's all I can use
right now, with the ISP we have here at Dad's.

Brenham's a lot closer than Breckenridge. He had put in Stabil a few months ago. Seems
I used Seafoam in my bike a little while back. Few weeks later I had to
clean the corrosion out of the locking gas cap. Not sure if it's related
to the seafoam, ethanol in the gas, or just being a 10 year old bike.
I like the Farmall's, I just don't really need one :) The Ford 600 runs
now! or did earlier at least.
I'm sorry. Here's where I'ld link a funny LOLCat picture to ease the
pain of google groups, if I wasn't too lazy to wade thru a bunch of em
    to find a funny one.

    Road trip!
    All of the above?
If it craps out on you again and we still have the tractors, give me a
    holler.

    Enjoy! :))
