The Heffalump needs some new brake pad pins.

Any suggestions for a stockist of parts for Brembo brakes?

GPR Direct [0] are the UK importers and distributors, so are
probably the best place to order from for parts.

Failing that, your local Ducati dealer will be able to get them
for you; just let them know the caliper mount spacing (40 or 65mm)
and the number of pins in the caliper (one on the 40mm, one or
two on the 65mm calipers) and they will/should know what to order.

Or try this place that I've used for parts:

I'd already seen their website, but they didn't list the calipers that
    I've got.
Hmmm, our local Ducati dealer... *shudder*. I'll try them after I've
tried my friendly local independent Ducati specialist, who says that new
brake pads for something-or-other come with spare pins that should fit.
    Aye, saw that too.

Thanks for the suggestions; I'll follow them up and see where I get.

It's worth a try as they should know which pins fit which calipers
and be able to supply you with replacements even if they don't
    list the exact model.
Speak to Nelly (Neil) at www.cornerspeed.co.uk as he's a very friendly
dealer and will do mail order. He knows what he's talking about and is
especially useful for cross-referencing part numbers between Ducati
models. Tell him that I sent you ;-)
I guess there's always ebay if all else fails!

Oh, sure; I'll add them to the list of places to contact with increasing
    desperation...
    Will that help?
I think I've lost my search mojo, I couldn't find any on eBay either.

Ok, so going by a quick Google of some pics, it looks like they've
used a common Brembo "rear" brake caliper up front. Checking the
pad part numbers front to back confirms that they're the same, right?

According to a quick ebay, those are FA181 pads, right?

Another quick Google says that FA181 pads are used by a lot of bikes,
    including: S2R800, 08 M400, 05*,06 MTS620, 05*,06 M620, 07,08 M695.
    http://www.ca-cycleworks.com/shop/catalog/ducati/brake_pads.html

So I had a quick look at the M695 '07 parts catalogue on the Ducati
site to check that the pads are the right one, and then to get the
    pin number:
    http://www.ducati.com/en/bikes/service/parts/2007.jhtml?family=parts

    Part # 6124 0311A - Spare pin and Springs

It shows the right looking pad with two spring clips in the pin.
If that's right, give your friendly Ducati parts supplier a call
    and quote the part number.

Yeah, the rear caliper and one of the fronts is the same, the other
    front is a mirror-image, IYSWIM.
    Good so far.
well, up to a point, Lord Copper. Just because they're the same pads, it
doesn't necessarily mean they're the same calipers and will use the same
    pins...
    Unfortunately not:
    http://www.oemmotorparts.com/oem5.a...BRAKE SYSTEM&F=CA-ELEPH-1_CI&L2=CA-ELEPH-1_CI
Part #24: a straight pin with a round spring at one end, no clips to be
    seen.

    It's more like this:
    http://www.motorworks.co.uk/bmw/prodimages/lg/BRA30418.jpg
.... but without the spring clip.
