    From the Beeb...

He has been having kidney dialysis three times a week in recent months
to treat a long-term condition, nephrotic syndrome.

Not breaking the chairs in the train cabs :)

And possibly because, occasionally, a train driver possibly has to actually
    do some physical work.

But that wouldn't explain excluding a well built (as opposed to fat) person.

  5. Nothing that happened to me; but I saw a friend get sent down for 3
years because her dumbfuck dealer boyfriend was stashing his gear behind
her hot water tank without her knowledge.

The pigthick jury took one look at her and didn't believe a word of it.

    Cunts.

According to the post you replied to she claims not and the jury would
    appear to have disbelieved her.

Not quite. The post said that the boyfriend had stashed his gear without
her knowledge, not that he was a dealer without her knowledge. That
    would (IMHO) make a difference.

    I'm just curious.

The main thing is that if he was a dealer there would be no way of
hiding it.[1] She *must* have known, especially if she happened to be
partial to the particular drugs he trafficked in.

[1] Not strictly true. If he is dealing out small packets of Friday
night bliss then he would be a *very* popular boy at certain times of
the week only. If he were dealing larger quantities to then business
would be more regulated but dependant on the reliability of his supply.
It is difficult to describe in a couple of paragraphs[2] but his
customers, especially if he were dealing pills and powders, would be
eager and proactive in their efforts to get hold of his product.

[2] Over the road from me is one of those half way house type thingies,
every now and then they get an idiot living there who deals. I can tell
you what and how much from his customers, many of whom park in the lay
by outside my house while their mate is inside scoring. If I remember
then next time it happens you can come and see for yourself just what
the poor bastard has to put up with if his supplier gets delayed by
    traffic.

  12. No. He kept it very quiet as far as she was concerned. To give him some
credit, he came forward and owned up to the stash and got done for it
too. The PF carried on with the charge against her though; it was at
that point I lost all respect for the law.

I didn't realise it was an offence to consort with drug dealers. You
    learn something every day.

Of course it isn't her offence would have been having/allowing drugs to
be used/sold on her premises and as I understand it technically you
don't have to be actually aware of what is going on for you to be
    guilty.

  15. <ding!> That's what pissed me off big time. Imo, the law is a total ****
sometimes. The jury, a bunch of thick-looking, straight-laced,
uptheirownarses total cunts, took the word of the prosecutor and
returned a guilty verdict. The judge even tried to sway them to a ng
verdict, ffs, in his summing up.

Under the new Blunkett plans it's only going to get worse... you don't even
have to be proved guilty.. just sort of maybe guilty will do.
