I just bought my first "another" set of tires for the Blackbird!
Taking the advice of the mechanic (Micah), I opted for going with the
Michelin Power Pilots. I went online and bought the front/rear set for
$170 total! Not too bad for a good set of tires and getting in on the
Easter sale saving me just over $100 for the tires.

I started to go with the Dunlop Qualifiers again, but I wouldn't have
saved as much....some, but not as much. Even though I'm not down to
belts yet, I figured I'd have these for when I'm ready. I've put right
at 5k on these tires since I've owned the bike, and the rear now has a
plug in it. I thought if I waited until I needed the tires, I'd
probably have spent almost double going through the dealer.

If anyone wants to get in on the Easter sale and save money on tires,
there's still a few hours left.

    Enjoy!

Now if Louie would hurry up and buy that lift he keeps saying hes
going to buy then we could change those tires in his garage. I seen
that he has a couple bubble levels and a stool we can use for a tire
    balancer.
