Brakes and me...

Clearly I'm not to hot on braking full stop as I tend not to use them
that much. Put my bandit 600 into service and the boy asked if there
was anything in particular. "No" I said "just a pre winter service".
Phoned later in the afternoon to get a update. "Your brakes need a bit
of work" he said. There followed some technical chat that flowed over
me... picked up bike two days later, bill £122 and brakes that are
    just amazing!

There was a posting sometime ago, which I've not been able to track
down, about practicing emergency stops. It's a skill I've not done
    anything about since my DA.

Could someone advise me as to what the technique would be as you never
    know?

    Cheers

That only works when you're so busy laughing as you look in your
mirrors that you don't notice the obstruction in the road about to
    seriously injure you.
