Guzzi failed its MOT this afternoon, shagged front RH disc [1]. Although
the uber ropey rear tyre got through as it probably has a few more days
    wear on it, just.

Problem is I think the discs need to be replaced in pairs and OE are
around £140 to £200 each. I've been chasing prices for PFM and EBC
patterns. The discs are the 300mm two piece Le Man type.

Are there any other pattern disc manufacturers or round barrel Guzzi
specialists [2] I could try? Experiences?

[1] Paul Carmichael commented that once I'd got going I didn't slow down,
this wasn't for the want of trying to.

[2] I've got prices from Wessons and Motomecca.

Aren't they Brembo OE? In which case, they're a damn sight better
than PFM or EBC will ever be and bloody cheap at that price too.

I had a cast Brembo disc break in half on the front of my Guzzi Quota,
and the rear cracked too because of a basic design flaw any engineering
student could spot. Changed to fully floating setup using Guzzi disc
carriers and PFM rotors and it all works beautifully now.
