Yeah but anyone with half a brain can see that Elsie is a fuckwit -
she waves her ignorance around like a bogan waves flags on Australia
Day. Surely no one in his right mind would ever take her freely
offered advice? Therefore she is a danger only to her self. Darwin
usually prevails in these situations - it's sad but true...
No need to waste too much energy on her* then, maybe just a little bit
    for fun...

*Is she a her or a he? (not that I'm all that interested, it would be
nice to know the correct pronoun gender, that's all).

Am I really the only one in here to notice that 'Elsie' = 'LC' = 'Lars
Chance'? *Of course* you're locking horns with a guy.

names are nothing to do with it.

locking horns, ramming heads... the painful mating display of the male
ungulate whose main claim to fame is hair and stupidity.

No one reading (or skimming, ain't no one reading this especially as
some participants have trouble with the delete key, castration anxiety
or something) this would be in any doubt the two participants in
question are a) male and b) not getting any.

    Well that's gratitude for you!!!
Here I am trying to attribute him with some dignity and all I get for
    thanks is a lame insult.
I'm cut to the quick :)

There hasn't really been too much locking anything with anyone yet.

Psst. Hey Elsie, I serviced my rear caliper today. Works much better
now. I also changed the left low beam globe. That works better too.
Total cost"? $5 for the globe.

    NOOOoooo Theo!!
Now George will call you all those nasty names too.

    (BTW, $5 is pretty cheap for a headlight-globe. I assume it's something
    other than H4.)

    $5!!!
You were robbed. Elsie could make 2 for half that price! He saw an
article in Popular Mechanics that shows how you can make them using
    bamboo fibre and aluminium powder...

    Hmm

    An element of petulance?
Persistence in the face of the facts?
    Unjustified personal attacks?

Dunno, but it all seems a bit girl-like to me.
Consensus seems to favour guy, so I'll go along with it, but nothing
    would surprise me

H3. Left low beam. The right low beam went out six months ago. The two
high beam globes aren't on all the time so will probably last longer
than the low ones. My last bike only had one headlight globe, the
    Noggie has four.

Well, I wouldn't want to listen to you for more than 30 seconds,
otherwise I might figure out your usage of hypothetical syllogism.
