Not necessarily, although it's generally more fun that way.

Yeah, I'll be up for that if it isn't raining.

    Where do we meet again?

    Sounds doable.

    Is this it, perchance?

    ISTR it is.

That's it. I'll ask no more stupid questions about this now.

I regard the word "bimble" with justified terror and much suspicion
since the time I was pillion on a GPzsomething-or-other, on a bimble
along country roads in Kent, with an out-and-out loonie controlling it.
    At night too.

I'd be up for it as I haven't been out on the bike this year.

Guzzi's new high compression pistons and bigger than normal big valve
head have now scored the decisive blow in the long struggle of power vs
frame. 30 year old OE shocks probably don't help.

I'm rather regretting the low geared final drive as the top speed hasn't
really increased; it just gets there a lot faster. As an added bonus the
oil stays in the sump too.

The fuelling doesn't seem quite right either but it's fucking hilarious
as I can make the frame twist at will.

Either way I'm meeting up with a friend at Boxhill tomorrow so won't be
trying to keep up with you. I'm going out in my best chaps with him and
    his Harley mates.

Yeah. You want to be really careful doing that mate.
Chump and the rest of the clique will want Pope Benny to excommunicate you
cos cross-posting like that will bring down western civilisation.

    It don't bother me though.

    Nice and sunny here.

It's a bit chilly and the roads are still wet. There's more than a
couple of ominous looking clouds in the sky though.

BTW, I find it curious you'd want to ride my R1 and not my ratbike.
