I would, but I truly deeply can't be arsed.

    Have fun.

I considered it because I haven't done one yet, but it's going to rain
and there's a GP on the tele.

Plus some of the roads are rather more challenging than the ones on the
FOT - particularly if it goes along the Crooked Mile (or whatever it's
    called) and it's been raining.

Though I suppose some of the FOT is challenging if you haven't done it
before as well - but I'm yet to come across gravel, horse manure and bends
that sharp on the FOT route.

although the start of the route varies, I think every BOTAFOF I've
"organised" includes the Crooked Mile, as we always do Roydon -> High
Beach. I love that stretch of road...
....though unfortunately the road surface has been gradually getting
worse and worse over the past few years. It is a real challenge if the
road is wet, because the overbanding and rough patches can be
    treacherous.

Fortunately it was nice and dry yesterday, and I only had one slight
"moment" when I ran over a small rock with the front wheel - luckily
the 7R doesn't appear to give much of a **** about that sort of thing.
