Mine cost me something approximating peanuts, as a winter hack to
stop me fucking up the 7r on salty roads. I did look at S16s and
GTI-6s, but they'd all been buggered up Max Power stylee, so I
settled for the XSi. The fact that my wonga got me a winter hack
that's fun to drive and easy to park was something of a bonus :)

  7. In uk.rec.motorcycles, Adrienne M Bonwick amazed us all with this pearl
    of wisdom:
We had thunder, lightning and the mother of all hailstorms last night.

It was persistently raining just now but it's brightening up now.

Ah, mine's still standard apart from the stereo. It's mucho fun
to drive but parking isn't good IMO because of the heavy steering
    and lack of lock.
I've had it over five years now and had been thinking of a change.
Or at least I was until I realised how little I can get PX for it
compared to what I paid for it (

    wisdom:
Monday's going to be a scorcher.

19 degrees and sunny in London according to the 5 day outlook on the
    Beeb.

At least the forecast has improved.

Not raining until 11pm on Saturday (until 4am Sunday), just cold, and
Sunday has a "warm" afternoon at about 11C.
