Well a big thanks to UKRM from Team UKRM for the generosity of bidding
for our x-boxes. The grand total for the 4 sold was £260, bloody good
    show.

Thanks to Wavy Davy and Ajay for those v.generous winning bids.

Sweller and I were speculating about the costs of the upcoming 24 hour
race. To get this in perspective for everyone some £1200 for tyres, £600
for fuel and £700 entry fee.

They're not forced to enter you know ;-)

CG125 would make the distance and cost a fraction of that amount.

You could keep a spare engine in your pocket, just in case like...

You could rebuild the whole bike in under an hour I reckon

But surely the costs are offset by all that lovely prize money...

Why bother, just get another one and when that blows up etc... and
hopefully by the end of 24 hours the worlds stock of CG125s might be a
    little less.

True and when you're finished you just leave them parked outside the local
    Pizza shop.

    I think it's a winning plan.

I'd *love* to see someone actually do it - I wonder just how far behind the
    CG really would finish

*boggle* Would it actually be allowed to enter? If I had the money, I'd
love to enter one. Team Muck.

True, although I'm sure that some form of CG125 racing formula would be
fun, in the same way that C90 racing is fun.

Seconded, a huge thankyou to all. I hope this means that you are all going
to come along to the 24 heures du Snetterton? Just to make sure we don't
spend it all on beer and pies, if nothing else.)
Why not make it coincide with the mooted MOSM?
