I fear I shall already have been trimmed, for when the time comes to
    go fly a kite.

    Carolyn Preston says...
I tried to fly Beelzebub's Flexifoil on Ayr beach. I ditched it in the
sea after about 30 seconds. That was just after the wind tried to take
    me to Belfast.

I'm not allowed JD. Just don't ask OK.
    Sunday and Monday.
There had to be some benefit.
That funny ear thing back again - hmmmm.
You can add begging and pleading if you want :)

Sitting in a traffic jam trying to get onto the A38 today watching two
of those I realised two things.

    1. I want a big kite.
    2. I want to pass my test asap.

I dodn't say it disturbed me most, I said it made me uneasy about large
    kites...

TBH, I didn't find the Wasp Factory particularly disturbing.

I think I'll have the above tattoo'd on my forearm, just to keep my
feet on the ground ('scuse the pun).

I'm about half way though the links trying to figure out the r00ls of
flying those bastados. Enormous feckers aren't they.

Up to a page named 'safety' atm. Very wise methinks. I'm going to buy
one tho' (no idea which type yet, still reading up on the things ) -
and I quite fancy a sand buggy thing too.

I'm doomed, I tell you. The fecker who started this thread has a lot
    to answer for. ;)

  7. Start in light winds.

Went to a demo day last Sunday, when it was a bit *gusty* - 15+ stone
experienced blokes getting dragged halfway across the field by 2.5m
kites & one guy with 4.9m Blade kinda just *hovering* for a couple of
minutes & put it away again =8-O

One guy managing to buggy v. well powered by 2 delta stunt type kites.
    Gwan, you know you will.

Very likely. Have you a group of people who keep bringing the incident
up? And filled in the gaps in the memory? last time I had any was when
    GO TO THE DOCTOR!
You never know it might work :)
