Last year it was Tallbloke's Matchless, this year Sweller's Guzzi.

I have a need to buy something old and loud building.

That bike is *fantastic* - there's something not quite right about it,
but it looks like a piece of art.

In a few years time I hope I own a bike that looks as great as his
does! The "Security Protected by Sticker" did it for me, and the "DO
NOT CLEAN THIS BIKE" sticker finished it off. Great to ride, too.
Far, far too loud! Once I'd got it up over a wobbly walking pace it
was a joy to ride. I just couldn't stop smiling!

    Good one.

There is isn't there. I think it is the front wheel it needs to let
    more light through.

    Nope.

Glad you enjoyed it. It was a pleasure letting you have a go, too.
    It was, thanks all!

Yep, took my vote too. He wasn't around when I got back from hooning it round
the bends to Ashbourne and back, so cheers mate, thanks for the blast. I'll
return the favour with my T3 at EOSM all being well

Thanks also to Muck for a blast on his screaming 250, having to down shift
twice at 12,000 revs to get into the power band was a novel experience ;-)

I thought it sounded a lot louder this year. Nice loud though. :)
Heh.. not for those who ride like they drive a car. You came back with a
big grin I noticed, as did most everyone who tried it.

I thought Monz was a brave man for having a go. :)

Indeed. I thought you did very well even sitting on it, let alone having
    a ride on it.
My first ride on that was in the rain, followed by WC on my Bandit.
Great fun spinning the rear tyre up when overtaking a car. :)

I really enjoyed it mate cheers... It feels so wrong revving a four stroke
    to 18 thou though.

And yes it did look like I'd got a bike stuck in the crack of my arse )

doesn't Platy's outfit get a mention? cheers for the bimble into the
village and back- very strange with no helmet. The 'going backwards'
    thing really freaked me out.

Lovely bike that guzzi. I usually think I'm not a fan, but then you
hear it - what a noise.
Only for the strange plop-plop noises after the exhaust detached itself.

And also my gratitude for the donation of petrol from the Dnepr which kept
the tent warm and the coffee bubbling.

Bit of a pita on the motorway though. WavyDavy got it to go to 21+
thousand, so must be a tough little motor.
Heh, well I wasn't going to say that. Nice to know that my freshly
rebuilt forks got a thorough testing though. :)

For some strange reason, it didn't seem any louder, just funnier. In the
end I chickened out of having a ride in it.

With a bit more effort he could manage to get it as good as Richard A's
    sons bike.

It was amazing though, I could kick myself for leaving the camera at
home as trying to explain how this CBR1000 looked after WC took an
angle grinder to it isn't very easy.

beat a really *great* tatty shitheap for pulling the birds. Or not...

PS WC? Look up www.ratbike.org for some stonking mingers.
