I put the heating on yesterday for the first time since April. Been as
low as +10 overnight a couple of times. Summer is most definitely
over.

 

Hmm a clue!! BOSM and EOSM... Beginning Of Summer Meet and End Of
Summer Meet??

 

I doubt we'll have ours on for another month. It's still in the 70s
and 80s most days.

Yay! Skiing!

 

I'll be skiing come Saturday, in Bariloche[1], Argentina. Be doing a
few days there, then driving round to some of the other resorts within
reach, some of them in Chile. Not feeling at all fit for it, but I
expect I'll manage.

By the time we get back The autumn season in Engelberg will have
started.
There's only the glacier with any snow at the moment, but normally by
the end of the month there should be quite a lot running.

I don't get it. +10 is summer.

 

Autumn starts the day I have to use the ice scraper on the car
windscreen, and winter when I'm driving home in the dark.

 

Autumn started yesterday, by my empirical assessment. It was horrible.
