Just a quick note to say how good it was to finally put faces to names.
After starting lurking in 96 I thought it was about time. Thanks to al teh
staff at the BH for putting up with me. I have a few piccys taken on Sunday
morning that I will post up tonight.

As for Blaney, I believe you are PIT#1(Puked In Tent). I was told we had a
#2 as well but I can't remember who it was. As #3 I am happy to KoTL it if
    you don't want to.

It looked like all the key players were there; I was rather sad I
    couldn't make it.
I did it in September, yes.
TBH, it's not a happy memory, so carry on.

He did it before me, didn't he. He should be #1.

Not sure if I met you at the BOSM Entwistle

However I did meet your mate - 'the biking Viking' - Tiny, was it? Does he
    post here?

I literally got confused and, passing him a beer I'd bought him, called him
'Tiny Dick' - no idea where *that* came from.

Anyway, that's when Tiny decided to show me his knife. *Nice* (not, ICYWW)

Happily he quickly forgave me and, joy of joys, he even let me feel the dent
in the back of his head where it had once been struck by a scafolding pole.

Just one of many happy BOSM memories.

Ah, that'd be the chap I had a manly, bikery, ruffty tuffty, arm wrestlely
type thing with outside the pub then so that we could bond and be bro's
    then, yes?

All very confusing to me it was as I was 8 pints to the worse and knackered
    from the days 'racing'.

    I still won, mind.

UKRM can occasionally provide some good reading, and you don't need to reply
    to appreciate that?

Some people can think of nothing to say, and say nothing. Others can
think of nothing to say, and say anything.

    Again? ;-)

Thanks for letting me join you on the ride back BTW, it was much more
pleasant than making my way alone up the A515.

Oh, and guess who stayed over last night :p

  18. Somewhat OT, I was in Finland a while back, and passed through
    Stockholm on the trip.

Admiring, as one does, the disproportionately high numbers of good
looking bints, my highly educated travelling companion informed me that
the reason there *are* so many of them is that, in Viking days, the
warriors never brought back any ugly fuckers.

    Makes sense, really.

Mainly because I only had read only access at work and I had a very busy
life at home so the only time I could follow UKRM was at work.

Plus it provided many an hour of entertainment when work was mindblowingly
    boring.

Wasn't that somebody elses tent, and wouldn't that deserve oak leaves?
