  1. Wot 'e says.

I'm going to the Voxan factory in a month's time, and the K100 will have
tent, sleeping bags, ground mats and all our clothes. 'can't wait...
    :)

  2. Bungees and gaffer tape. At a stretch you could use a record bag to put
yer smalls and toiletries in. Personally I'll be wearing what I come in
and if the worst comes to the worst I'll tape my tent to the back of my
    jacket.

Oh, and sleeping bags are looovely.

Oh **** me get a sleeping bag, you are not a proper biker unless you
    have a sleeping bag.

At the very least you could fucking spell it right.

If you keep this sort of thing up I will have to reconsider my position
vis a vis supporting you in your role as official *osm auctioneer.

Yes, this seems a bit better. I have recently been wearing a rucksack
on my way to work with some stuff in (shoes, lunch, etc) but I've
always been slightly concerned about what would happen if I came off
of my bike as I'd have some very hard lumpy stuff attached to my
spine, which will defeat the spinal armour my jacket has.

Looks like cargo straps are a good idea. I'll have a look in
Halfrauds tomorrow while my bike is having its new shoes fitted.

Thanks to Winging Courier for his posts. They've also been useful.
I'll experiment with this storage thing over the next week to see what
    works.

I ride with a cargo net over the back seat all the time. It serves two
purposes, the first is it discourages pillions and second it comes in
dead handy to strap on a bag of shopping from Tescos.

And I think it also adds a little character to the bike and wish they
    did them in fluorescent blue.

Sleep is for poofs.......oh sorry, I forgot.

    OK, lets try again.

Lifes too short to miss a second, I'll sleep when I'm dead.

When you find a big pub on the corner of two roads be careful - if it's
got a lot of bikes in the triangular car park keep going - it's the
    wrong one.

  18. If you're passing through Paris and you have a metallic fuel tank, drop
me a line, as have a lovely tank bag (fx: rummages in files.. ah yes,
here it is as it was on my FJR ....
    http://homepage.mac.com/zeouane/moto/fjr1300/fjr_freibourg.jpg), but my
K100 has a plastic tank, and so it's no use to me.

I shan't offer to send it, as I'm notoriously bone idle when it comes to
going to the Post Office and sending things.

If you get a warm enough bag you can sleep under the stars. It's quite
refreshing when you turn over, look up and see them twinkling down at
    you.
