It looks like a deploying air bag :) How does it fit? Magnetic?

    P.S. Nice bike.

And a rucksack covers up all of those lovely reflective spots and
tubes that cover the back of my black/blue Akito Python II.
I'll have a look around today.

It is. I well remember my first day at school in Gloucester, aged
seven - at the end of the day the teacher said "now don't forget,
we've got PE tomorrow, so bring your daps". I went home terrified,
having no idea what was required. My parents being (obviously) from
London too, also had no idea - they had to go and ask a neighbour.

  5. It was, yeah. I sold a couple of items six months or so ago, and only
sent them out after a fortnight. This happened to me with my mobile,
and I know how annoying it is. In my defence, I didn't cash the
    cheques, either.

  6. No longer have it. :-(

Anyway, the tankbag's magnetic, yeah. Free to whoever calls to pick it
    up.

I am pleased to advise everyone that I have just come back from
Halfrauds with a big box containing:

    Adventure Two Person Tent
    Adventure 300 Sleeping Bag
    Adventure Rucksac
    Adventure Camping Mat

And I am now £39.99 lighter. Out of the box it all looks like like
it'll squeeze into a small size. I will work on my storage problem
    over the next week.

Thanks for your help again everyone.

  9. Easy to put up, even when pissed.
I've got one of those, lovely it is.
A good investment for a fiver!
If you're really stuck, you can put a towel on the back of your bike (to
save scratches) and bungee a recycling box on the back, there'll be more
than enough room in one of those.
    Have fun!

  10. ISWYM. Have you considered riding naked?

I can't imagine anything bluer than that.

Fortunately, our neighbours were Gloucester born and Gloucester bred,
and, as the rhyme goes, accordingly strong in the arm and thick in the
    head.

    Yes, actually.
It's not so bad, if you pick the right weather.

Infact, without too much modification, I should be able to just strap
the rucksack to my pillion seat and not bother with panniers at all.
There's even space left in the rucksack. I'll try it when I get my
    ER-5 back from the garage.

    Result.

You didn't go to school until you were seven? Christ, the Midlands
    really is a deprived area.
