BOSM accommodation for the nesh

  1. Err possibly. I don't do the camping bit and as the B&Bs near to the pub
are (seemingly) all taken it will be a hotel job. I have done a google
for something closer to the station as I won't be on two wheels. I do
have to decide if I can face the trauma of even contemplating taking a
train at a weekend though. My last trip Derbywards was enough to put me
    off trains for life.

You will need a minibus if I decide to turn up! I think all of us
crammed into a taxi would cause the driver too much trauma. Heaven only
knows what BGN would be saying.
I'm not sure which "usual leisure trip" you are referring to. I make
very few trips in an average year.

How odd, I've always found Derby - St Pancras is a reliable service.

Now there's creative editing and there's ignoring the blatantly
obvious. You know what you've done don't you?

  9. There were no trains south of Leicester that particular day.
Unfortunately there was no explanation of this fact until all the
convenient alternative trains had left the station. I will stop now
because otherwise I will wish to violently stab things ....

Believe me when I say that the MDs of three train companies plus Network
Rail would have been murdered if I had met any of them that weekend.

  11. Jeesh, its going to end up like a fucking sitcom plot isn't it.
I bet the hotel owner is dead ringer for Fawlty.
