Bit bored with the Tuono and it was starting to ming a bit LOL

Wanted something I could commute on and have a laugh with on the FOF so a
compromise over handling and performance with practicality

And, I always have to have at least three bikes in the stable at once LOL

How are you finding the VFR?

I test rode one and I think it must have been a lemon because I *hated* the
    handling.
It just did not give the confidence in the corners that the GSX-R did - and
it slid twice and I'm not exactly an aggressive rider.

Must be the way you ride, then. I can get my knee down on mine easy LOL

I was pressing a bloke on an R1 out near the Hadhams. Overtook him on the
    outside at 120.

Could just be that all R1 riders are poofs though. LOL

You'll find the one you want eventually. Have you considered a job with
a bike mag? You must be able to compare anything to anything else by
    now.

As phil's the most frequent changer of bikes[1], who's had their bike
the longest? I'll start it off with nigh on three years with the SV.

[1] or is he? How does Tog compare with his do it up, sell it on SOB
    thing?

I just don't see why it's a problem. I mean, once you know what it'll
do the novelty wears off. Well, it does for me.

I'll probably keep the VFR for at least another month and then see what's
next. That way it doesn't depreciate significantly and my investment
    remains largely intact.

I quite fancy the new BMW 1200GS.

    It's only a bike.
Why? It's practical, quite quick and surprises more than a few sportbike
riders. Nothing like it for mile after mile of motorway and I quite fancy
a trip to Saudi next year.

so...it just *looks* like you buy another bike every month, when in
fact it's only every other month.

I've only had 6 bikes in the last three. Which I suppose makes you
only 3 times worse. I've only had 9 bikes ever, mind (in the 7+ years
    since passing my test).

    Since Feb '98.

I've only owned three bikes since Feb '92 and have owned a grand total
    of seven bikes since 1981!
