This is the way most fork seals are fitted nowadays. I haven't done any
the other way in years. Harley must be finally moving with the times.

Oh, totally, no question. I just need a plausible cast iron excuse as to
why I can't take the Sportster.

One now ex-sportster owner has already come up with the cunning "sold it
and bought an R1150R" ploy so I need to be more cunning than that.

I've forwarded Statto's email to you, although I think it went to you
    originally.
That's what I thought: give me a chance to adjust the chain etc.

"My wife's using it for her DAS."
"The Sporty's too unreliable for distance work."
"I can't afford the depreciation if the mileage gets into four figures."
    "It might rain."

It did. Gosh, I'm good at this.

Does this " 2 twins and a single for the blokes, including Monz who's
currently off the air, to fight over." mean I have a bed. If so who do I
    owe money to.

If not I'll book one myself.

Let me know which one you're heading for and if you're coming via Hove.
Probably need about 2 - 2½ hours to get to Folkestone.

I think so, and probably either Statto or the hotel.
If I can't get a bed, I'll just head directly for Chimay and camp two
    nights. Hard, me.
I expect so. I'll try to make an earlier start this time.

    It does.
Settle bills on departure, as I'm not e^Haffluent enough to stump up
    for the rooms.

The thing about the Chunnel offer is, outwards after 1400 - no problemo -
return *before* 1400. Which means leaving Chimay, realistically, no later
than about 9:00AM. Now, practice is Friday afternoon/Saturday morning and
racing is Saturday afternoon and all day Sunday. So we either leave on
Sunday morning and miss most of the racing, or we camp Saturday and Sunday
nights and return Monday. I'm tending to favour the second option.

How about, you leant it to a local glamour model to be used in a

He'd have to provide evidence of the photos, tho, wouldn't he.
