I've got some nice GoreTex AlpineStars, which *rock*. A bit scufed
now as I have developed a bad habit of getting my toe down.

A couple of months ago I was tempted by some cheap Akito's on eBay,
they cost me £20, the where a good fit, plus the chap send me two
pairs for the price of one.

On Wednesday I dropped the pickup[1] at the garage[2] and walked the
mile to work. As I wasn't using the bike I wore the Akito's. I
thought I had a stone in my boot, but when I got to work and took my
boot off, the sock was blood soaked, with a hole in the heel. My heel
also has a hole in it (

There is a small nail sticking up out of the boot, highlighted by a
circle of blood. It must be internal, there is no sign of a nail head
or nail hole on the outside.

So where do I send the abusive letter to?

[1] A rusty old P100, which we call the skip.
[2] the clutch stopped working, actually there wasn't much left of the
    clutch.

I thought it was a small stone. I walked along kicking the floor now
and again to try and shift it. The nail is only just protruding, so
it engraved a hole rather than simply sticking straight into my heel.

Hmmm. I keep toying with getting some of these.
I may just take your word for it then ;-)
