    Hi All.

I don't even knw if something like this exists or not, but here goes:

I Have a bike that I'm planning to buy now that I can (legally) ride
on the road, and I'm about to take my first foray onto that scary
black stuff - bitumen. (Been on Dirt most, well, all of my life)

The odds are that I'm going to fall off at some point, and I really
    really like my skin... :)

Is there anywhere in Melbourne that I can buy protective equipment
(jackets/pants) with hard integrated armour a-la motorcross wear, but
sewn into the clothing (ie: something like this:
    http://www.harpersraceshop.co.uk/cat60_1.htm integrated into a
    jacket..)

If this sort of thing isn't available, can anyone reccomend a good
shop to get other protective gear?

    TIA.

    Hoi Dan,

Head to Peter Stevens in the city and have a chat to Jack. Don't be shy but
say you were sent by the Mexican.

    Good thinking.
Have you heard of a motorcycle shop?
Most bike gear has some sort of armour in it already, and most shops will
sell full armour race type leathers if you want ot go all the way. Go in and
    have a poke around.

  7. Don't worry Rob, you occasionally post opinions that _everybody_ agrees
    with...
