    Hi All,

I've had a look at the FAQ and looked back through the group but can't find
an answer to my question, so here goes.

How have people got on using foggy masks with glasses and flip-front crash
helmets, how do the masks attach? I've tried using fairy liquid, rainX
anti-fog and a few other products with very little success.

    Many Thanks

    Dan

Straight from the horse's mouth/foggy mask (ie. the Respro "Foggy" box):

The Foggy(R) mask is known not to
    fit the following helmets:

    AGV R3 & R4 FULL FACE SERIES,
    OPEN FACE CRASH HELMETS,
    FLIP LID CRASH HELMETS,
    PUDDING BASINS AND TIN POTS
    - all else works!

So I guess they don't attach well at all..!? :-(

/claus (non-flip lid and Foggy-thingy still in box...)

I found the foggy thing uncomfortable and insanitary. It also seemed to
stop letting air flow much over 120.

Fog City seems to work well for me- but I don't wear bins.

    Heated visors rock.

Heated /prescription/ visors obviate the need for specs, too.

Bit expensive, but worth it IMHO.

At the risk of taking a worm, do they exist?

Not that it would help - ideally I would like contacts but apparently I
don't have the right sort of eyes for them (according to two unrelated
    opticians).

Insanity or unsanitary? We should be told.

The latest laser technology can apparently produce optically perfect
visors, exactly to your prescription. The Winter Visor also has
microscopically thin heating element wires set into the Makrolon,
obviating fogging/freezing down to minus 5 Celsius at 100% humidity.

The Nitro version is soon to be available priced at a very keen 45
quid and has been rigorously tested in Tibet.
