AAArgh! I used to be 5'3" but I think I'm shrinking..... And I find a touch
of the toes on the ground greatly reassuring!!!!

    betty, would love to
    hold my bike up by
    levitation! Just you wait
    till you shrink, Boxer!!!!

If you were to ride one of my toys we would need to include an apple vox
for the stops .( I raised the xt 4" to make it comfortable)

    <envious glare>
I know it's probably as much a hassle for tall folk as for us widgets....
but I can't help envying ppl who can get their feet flat, even if their long
legs mean that their knees are up their noses.....*sigh*

Yes I have the Jessee panniers now and the Ohlins will arrive by courier on
Monday. I will have the afternoon off on Wednesday to fit them and the
aftermarket bash plate and some other "extras" such as intercom for the GPS,
UHF radio, iPod and radar detector.

And extra vibrations. I swapped the nobs for roads on my XTZ660 last week.
    What a difference!

Ah, now I understand why you need the enormous fuel tank, you have to

<flashback to that whole sequence of "no one should buy a bike they
can't flat foot on and look, that woman's horrible crash was obviously
    because she couldn't">

Come on aus.moto, where are the howls of indignation that he should
    even think about it?

Nice bike. You've tiled the garage? Isn't that a bit slippery when wet?

This is a bloke that fell _on_ his bike. I personaly prefer being able to
touch the ground with both feet. No Quota for me.
