BMW K1200 S any good ?

    Thinking of getting me a Beemer K 1200 S any opinions good and bad. Need it
    for long trips. Did Cardiff to Brno on the CBR and it wasn't that bad but
    could have been better. Any ideas appreciated.

    Peter M emerged from their own little world to say
    There have been so many issues with the bike that I wouldn't recommend
    anyone looks at it. At £10600 for the top spec bike it does not represent
    value for money either.

    Get one.

    Better still, get two. That way, you should be able to keep one on the road.

    Actually, three might be better.

    And make sure you know a good BMW mechanic.

    Or two.
