And trust me folks; this is a very powerful fundament of nature.
I've been the victim on all three new bikes I've bought and so have many
other aus.motions (the latest being wierd Al).
It seems like the only way to fight it is to do a JL/Corks/GS and buy
so-bloody-many bikes that it can't keep up (although it still nips at
    clutch-levers and incidentals).

Could you please **** off back to using Doug's posts as triggers for
    your hysteria, Gerry?

If you can't read a post you're replying to properly, how much of your
response is an actual riposte, as opposed to venting looking for an
    excuse to pop?

New or used, makes no difference.

The problem doesn't seem to be the size of the rider, but the size of
the bike. I don't think anyone is going to argue that you should
attempt trials on a big chookie. A few others have argued the point
that the F650 is a far better bike in the tight stuff, and I'd agree.
Reckon it comes back to the size of the bike in the situation, not the
    size of the rider.

Failing that, BMW is going to have to put signs up in their shop like
in the fairgrounds, you must be *this* tall before you can get on this
    ride... :)

  10. I agree. Can only ever remember having one bike that was the exception.

    Good luck to you.
I've heard a bloke can make a few bucks in Sydney these days; selling his
    arse ....

Hey while Golf is considered a sport I don't see why riding long distances
at modest speeds while acting superior should be excluded!

Have they been able to set the leg in a position where you can still root?

Wouldn't it make more sense (and be more comfortable) just to rent it out a
    half-hour at a time?

That's very insensitive of you, Conehead.

Here's this bright young thing lying injured, possibly unrepairably,
and you joke about it? I mean, Mosfet said she might even be
    _written off_.
