    Yep GB I'd like either but one's $6500 and the other's $10,500.
The injected one goes better but it's a lot more dosh.
What's the guts on fuel consumption injected vs carbs?

    Beers's cool.
Might just tell her to buy a transalp.
    It's for the g/f.
She needs a girls bike though.
    BMW huh.

FI is the better one of the F650s. More grunt, markedly lower consumption.
Mate had a 2003 model (before his stack), under 4l/100km...2-up.
Trannie is ok, but overpriced for oooold technologie, has the bloody
HISS-system and is a veeery slow seller.
Seen deals of $10k onroad. And that's too much for what it is...
    If overall size/ height isn't a problem, try the Suzie DL-650 (Wee-Strom),
again $10K onroad (after haggling), and one sweet package.

    cheers

    Macho, AND cool?
    But....my g/f is only 5ft1 & a gymnast. Very petite, but longggggg
legs. She rides a Honda 125 but want's us to tour and go offroad so
I thought a Funduro might not be too macho for her. She already
has great muscles on her......from the gymnastics.. y know.

  15. F650GS has bits available to lower it for shortarses as a factory option.
That's got to be an advantage. A friend of ours has a lowered G650GS and
she loves it, probably 5'2". Bought it from someone here on aus.moto
    actually.

The Tranny has a lowered seat available, ask Pat he's got one, very wide
seat though. Not particularly low. Anyway his Tranny will be for sale soon
    when he buys the Hornet.

I did say it was a modified rotax engine.

  18. So's the Pegaso, they changed the cyl head too, but 5 valve compared to the
BMs 4 valve(which makes more power).

This rotax engine has been in a few bikes now.

    U r welcome Johno

Ya reckon Suzie (my g/f) might be ok with an R11 then?
Easy to ride, not too fast, and ok on the motorway.
So, wot's it like offroad ?
