  1. Lightweight, isn't he? And what about the half-dozen baguettes and the
    wine boxes?

You really don't help the argument - it's about as convincing and
impressive as seeing M$ - in fact you just manage to look like a fucktard.

If camera operators had deployed themselves on an empty piece of NSL road
then the "they're just doing it to meet targets, nothing about safety"
carries some weight but not in a residential 30 mph zone.

As you saw them they can't really have been on a mission "to make a quick
    buck".

Arguing against cameras in this manner goes a long way in reinforcing the
perception that people who ride bikes are irresponsible, inconsiderate
    wankers.

    Thanks for the compliment
I never said residential. The 30 mile zone, starts quite a way out of the
    residential bit.
I have absolutley no argument if the enforcement was "always " in a sensible
place. But in the main, the whole argument is that these cameras are to
generate revenue, under the disguise of safety.
Luck maybe. But being tucked in between a couple of parked cars is not
    really showing yourself.
Hmmm, lost me on that one?

The only time I have carried wine on the bike was bringing some back
from the Sandemans bodega near Jerez. It was the stuff they use to
make sherry, *before* it is sherrified. Actually tasted quite
    disgusting.
