BMF Show warning

"Extra speed cameras will be out and about on Northamptonshire's roads
this weekend to catch motorcyclists travelling to the BMF
show.......... cameras will be installed on Saturday & Sunday 21/22nd
May. Sgt Hodgson said "we are expecting a lot of bikers to travel
through Northants for this event and will be carrying out speed
enforcement on roads leading to and from Peterborough"
...............there will be speed enforcements on the A605 Oundle /
Elmington road, the A605 Thrapston bypass and the A605 from it's
junction with the A427 county boundary."

They're out to get us this weekend!

 

Call the local council and the press. Tell them that there appears to be
a campaign to victimise this years Black Motorcyclist Federation.

I'll bet Cambridgeshire Scamera squad will be out in force as well on the
A14/A1 routes.
They'll not pass up the chance of making a quick buck out of this.

2 years ago, a number of us went to the Harley D 100th anniverersary at
Minehead. All in all a good weekend. On the trade stands (rather apt
really!) was the local Scamera mafia for that area, and we had a little
chat. We were assured wholeheartedly that they were not going to target the
bikers that had attended the event, it would just be business as usual!.
On the way home, they knew that a tremendous amount of bikes would go
through Bridgewater, so they sat about 20 yards in to the 30mph limit on the
road in!
Didn't get any of the lads that I was leading (a considerable sized group)
but I'm sure the holiday bonus fund was swelled considerably!

Whichever way you look at them, the people that hide themselves in their
little vans with the money making machines are real sneeaky, low-lifes that
should get a proper job! IMHO.

It's BMF members - they'll all be doing 45mph anyway.

 

Its harder to go much faster with a crate of lager and a bacon and egg
sarnie balanced on the tank.

Revising and assignments have taken over a bit of late so bike is
mucky
