Is that still happening today?
Unfortunately as no-one *really* thought it was a good place to meet and it's now past ETA I reckon no, Maybe a New Year run in January when the dodgy fuckedupbritishweather is more stable. Your other post suggestion earlier in the week may be a good idea -- Robbo Trophy 1200 1998 BotaFOF #19. E.O.S.M 2001/2002/2003/2004/2005 B.O.S.M 2003, 2004, 2005 FURSWB#1 KotL..YTC449 PM#7 BotM#4 ..
Reading the OP down there | | | | | VVVVV it was today but without the interest from the Kontingent and lack of positive replies it is postponed. Although if the weavva is as nice tomoz as today then there is a possibility of a bimble *somewhere* assuming alkyhole levels are low enough to legally allow a ride. Other than that maybe a weekend day/date in near future.............. -- Robbo Trophy 1200 1998 BotaFOF #19. Cunts! It's over here today. Pissing down like I haven't seen it for years. 40 mph winds and flooding everywhere.
CALL OUT THE NATIONAL GUARD well that's what normally happens in a crisis innit? -- Robbo Trophy 1200 1998 BotaFOF #19. E.O.S.M 2001/2002/2003/2004/2005 B.O.S.M 2003, 2004, 2005 FURSWB#1 KotL..YTC449 PM#7 BotM#4 ..
I'm not sure if I've got this right but is the main reason for the US National Guard is to to protect the citizens from the government if they try to get undemocratic on the people's, err, donkey? It's nothing like the British Territorial Army, which is a branch of the regular army, is it?
sweller emerged from their own little world to say http://www.arng.army.mil/About_Us/ "The Army National Guard (ARNG) is one component of The Army (which consists of the Active Army, the Army National Guard and the Army Reserves.) The Army National Guard is composed primarily of traditional Guardsmen -- civilians who serve their country, state and community on a part-time basis (usually one weekend each month and two weeks during the summer.)" Sounds very similar to the TA. Normally under State control but the President is still Comm. in Chief and can divert them at will.
