Blowy on the bike

Gees it was windy on the weekend. Took the OR on Sat through Wollombi,
Broke, Jerrys Plains to Muswellbrook - pretty damned hot and a bit windy.
Sunday rode back and enjoyed some wealthy gusts on the XX.

Coming back yesterday arvo, didn't see a cop on the OR but there were plenty
of leaves/branches everywhere. Had some fun but was conscious of oncoming
traffic swerving into my lane to avoid fallen trees (which were
predominantly on the north-bound side of the road).

Sad about that poor bugger hit by a tree down south.

Anyone else get blown heavily on their bikes?

    Cheers,
    Dave E (Sydney)

I went for a quick 10km spin to get some keys cut for my CT90 on
Sunday, and the crosswinds were somewhat interesting. Gven that the
tyres are a bit narrower than you see on some mountain bikes these
days, crossing tram tracks was a bit interesting as well.

And then it turned out that the blanks I'd been waiting 3 weeks for
were the mirror-image of what was actually needed!

That's a tautologically incongruent contradictory oxymoron.

Would that be considered a freak accident and therefore no insurance payout?

No payout under compulsory 3rd party, freak or no.

The moral of the story is if you are going to go riding in a storm, do
it with a friend and make sure they ram you.

Did an Oxley run over the weekend. Very windy but the ZX6R doesn't seem to
    be much affected by crosswinds.

With chiral centres, or just as diastereoisomers?

The first model (CT90 K0) seems to use a different key profile to the
    later models.
