Bloody hell, another Ebay motorcycle comedian

Now, I could use a set of four genuine new indicators for the Honda 400
Four, and a tenner a pop for OE is a good price.

Except that these are Chinese copies. In fact, if you look very
carefully at the box in the pic (which I admit I didn't) it says, in
small letters, 'Jialing' and 'Made in China'.

But these definitely aren't Honda OE, are there are various subtle
differences between them and the genuine articles I already have.

Fucking hell, I'm getting annoyed with these bastards. And this guy,
with FB of 3000+, should know better.

    Here we go again.....

Why is the Honda shown on the box, though? Would a pattern parts company
be allowed to show the OE mfr's logo on their box?

  3. Because the Chinese tend not to GAF.
See above. Plus Jialing makes Honda 125 copies (or under licence).

  4. He's seen the close resemblance of the Jialing parts and just assumed
they were actually identical to the original, or close enough that the
vast majority of purchasers wouldn't notice. I'll bet there will be a
lot of "restored" CBs out there in future with fake indicators on.

Actually Honda owns 50% of Jialing and the company trades under the
Jialing-Honda name. It is showing Honda on the box because the company uses
both names jointly. Usually the Honda part is most prominent on packaging
    etc for obvious reasons.

  6. It's still not an OE Honda CB indicator.

Fairy nuff. However, he only says that they are genuine Honda - and in a way
they are. My guess is that this is an "honest error" rather than deliberate
    or careless.
